I was told that the refund processing fee i was charged on top of the already $80 for filing all because I had a 401k deduction was not needed at all so why am I being charged it? And I don't understa

I thought I was done so paid $40 filing fee; however had to go back and redo income and then paid $40 again when done.   How do I get a $40 refund back?

Did you complete a state tax return?  If so, the state tax return when used with the Deluxe edition is an additional $40.
