On my state tax is says printed. The IRS never got the return. I never got any kind of notification that anything was wrong. How do I fix this issue?

Sorry but Printed or Ready to Mail means you have to actually print out your tax return and mail it to the IRS or state yourself.  So if you didn't mail it then it has not been filed yet.

You can try to switch to efile.   Click on Add a State to let you back into your retun.  Do not click on Amend!

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.
