A month ago my refund was shown me 1541 status now it says We have received your tax return and it is being processed.what does this means?

I'm aware of the "rules" @SweetieJean and @NeedmoneyinAK, I've only ever received 1 email from Turbo as well. Hopefully, we will know something after the 30th. I'm already dreading next tax season!!

One thing you  can do is change your withholding so that you do not have to wait for a refund at tax time.

Nothing in spam. Turbo is set for priority. As for withholdings, they are correct. Has nothing to do with my wait time.

No. I'm heading to IRS office on May 1st. Taking all paperwork,W-2s,birth certificates,ss cards and finding out where my refund is. Was told to give it until April30th or if I got letter. I haven't gotten anything. We continue to inform all my fellow waitees

I called Monday and was told not to do anything until May 6th as that is when my 60 days will be up. Can’t get an advocate because I’m not in a hardship. I just want to know what is going on. I’m not pressed for it, but still. This is ridiculous!

Filled 2/11 - got a letter regarding our 2015 taxes...sent that on 3/11 they got it (usps tracking) on 3/14. It’s 4/30 and haven’t heard a word. Absolutely bizarre

I called and the lady that was helping me she tried to approve my taxes so I I could get my refund but the income verification department is who has my taxes on hold she could not do anything she emailed the letting them know that their 60 days where practically over that they had to release my refund or send me a letter letting me know what they needed from me. The lady helping me said they have 60 days to answer my email. So frustrating

Wow my 60 days is up tomorrow. But still nothing. My TAS stayed she call me this Friday to give me an update. Hopefully that update will be in getting my money next week. This has been a nightmare

I've been waiting since Jan 30 and still am waiting. Supposed to have had money today, but of course I'm still processing so I will call in the morning. Most likely will be heading to IRS office. This tax year has been absolutely horrible

@NeedmoneyinAK  we just contacted a tax advocate the day before yesterday . What are the steps they have taken? They said they would call us back by tomorrow. Has anyone that talked to a tax advocate been helped at all?
