This is a public Internet forum.   You should not post personal info in a public forum like this.  You should edit your question to remove it.  To do that click the tiny blue 3-dot icon just to the right of your question and choose EDIT.    I'll also try to notify a Moderator to remove it, but that can take a while.

See my note above warning against posting personal information in this public Internet forum.  You should edit it out.   This is a user community forum, not a direct route to TurboTax Support.

If you efiled, check to be sure the efiled return was accepted. If you used Online TurboTax, log in and check the status at the Tax Home.   Does it say accepted, rejected, printed, started, ready to mail, or something else?

If it was efiled and accepted (or if you mailed the return), you can use the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool to check on your Federal refund.

https://www.irs.gov/wheres-my-refund
See what is displayed there about your refund.

Here are some tips when using the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool:

  • If you efiled, be sure you have waited at least 24 hours after acceptance before using the IRS WMR tool.   If you mailed a paper return, it won't show up in the tool for at least 4 weeks or longer.
  • Be sure you enter the correct tax year, SSN and filing status.
  • Be sure you are using only the Federal refund amount.   Do not include any state refund or any total refund or net refund (Fed and State) that TurboTax may have provided on a screen.
  • Look at your actual Federal return to get the Federal refund amount, i.e., your Form 1040, Line 35a.

Here's some additional info:

So are you getting a joint Federal refund but selected to deposit it into an individual account?   You should ask your bank what their policy is in that regard and what will happen in your specific situation.  While that may be possible for some banks, there are other banks that may not accept a joint deposit into an individual account.    If it's refused, the funds go back to the IRS, who will issue a paper check in the mail.  Check with your bank.
