My refund is less and comes from "TPG PRODUCTS SBTPG LLC"

My federal return was $279.61 less and sent by TPG Products SBTPG LLC instead of being sent directly from the federal government. Why was my return processed through a company and sent to me with money missing, unlike my state return which was sent directly from the government and with the proper amount?

Your refund goes through the 3rd party bank when you select to have the Turbo Tax fees deducted from your refund.  How much were your fees?  Plus there is a Extra $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California).  If the $279 wasn't all for fees and the IRS adjusted your refund they will mail you a letter saying why.
