What do you mean Rejected?  If it never got filed you do not amend.  You fix it and mail an original 1040 return.  Not a 1040X.

Yes, my 2017 return was rejected by IRS, I called TurboTax a few weeks ago, the answer is due to form 4255 (I turned a rental property into personal use in 2017). I have purchased TurboTax 2017 Amend software, but I don't know how to amend it, could you please help?
