I just completed my taxes and submitted them. I did not enter the information from the 1095A. Do I need to redo my taxes?

If you received the Advanced Premium Tax Credit you will probably get a letter from the IRS requesting the Form 8962 and they will hold your refund until you provide. If you did not have advanced insurance payments, you may want to enter the information to see if you qualify for the credit.
See The IRS is requesting Form 8962 for 2019.
I filed my tax return on 2/18/2020, and it was accepted the same day. I received the standard "we have received your tax return and it is being processed" message until 2/29/2020, at which point the message changed to "your return is still being processed" and displayed the standard TT 152 link. I called the IRS on 3/11/2020, and was advised that on March 6, the IRS mailed me a letter requesting a 1095-A and form 8962. Now, my refund is on hold because the IRS needs a 1095-A, and a form 8962. I have never had insurance through the Marketplace, so I contacted the Marketplace who advised me that I do not have coverage, and that they will notify the IRS and let them know that I do not have coverage, but that it could take up to 45 days for the IRS to receive the letter from the Marketplace. I contacted the IRS again and explained my situation to them. They verified that it was me who was being flagged (my other dependents have Medicaid and they get a different 1095 form), and referred my case to an advocate who is supposed to make contact with me within 5 days. In the meantime, I responded to the IRS letter 12C via fax and sent them a letter stating that I do not have coverage and a printout of my Marketplace account which shows no activity since 2016. Now, all I can do is wait for the mess to unravel and hopefully get my refund IN 8 WEEKS :( ! This is a horrible nightmare.
