Late Refund - No info on "Where's My Refund"

We e-filed with direct dep for our refund & got IRS acceptance on Feb 21st. It's been 45 days+ and the IRS Refund Status still shows "we are processing your return". IRS phone goes straight to auto-system. What do we do??

Please see the following TurboTax Help articles for information on getting your tax refund:

Late Refund - No info on "Where's My Refund"

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately, I've read all the referenced articles and they don't provide any new info.

We have no PATH Act issues on our return, no change in dependents, direct deposit bank account, or PIN from last year's return.  Only our address changed, and we filed a Form 8822 as well as used our new address on the return.

Since our refund has taken more than 45 days, we should be able to call the IRS to ask about it.  However, the phone numbers provided by TurboTax and the IRS website are not taking live calls.  The calls are directed to the phone version of "Where's My Refund" which gives no other info.  I'm hoping someone knows of a phone number that will connect to a live IRS representative.

The IRS is very backed up this year so even normal refunds are being delayed. It's possible your filing Form 8822 may be delaying things.

Super Champ @DoninGA has instructions on how to get through the IRS phone tree at What is the IRS phone number? As he says the IRS phone lines open at 7 a.m. local time. We recommend calling as early as possible.

You can also make an appointment with your local IRS office. See Contact Your Local IRS Office.
