Nothing about child support gets entered on your tax return. Child support you paid is not deductible; child support you received is not taxable.
If you live and work in TX you do not have a state income tax. In My Info you would have been asked what state you lived and worked in during 2019. Go back to My Info and click edit by your name and go back through the screens to answer where you lived and worked in 2019.
When I did mine and it asked for state tax I just Googled what the state tax is in Texas and it's 8.25
You are probably referring to the state sales tax, not the state income tax (which there isn't one).
This is how @NorthVII interpreted your question, which makes sense.
In the Schedule A/Itemized Deductions section of TurboTax, TurboTax does ask you what your state sales tax is, because if you don't have an income tax, you are permitted to use your state sales tax instead.
You can enter all the actual sales taxes that you paid throughout the year, or - because the first choice is hardly practical for most people - you can have TurboTax estimated how much sales tax you paid based on your income and the sales tax rate.
The sales tax rate is 6.25% for the state, and whatever your city adds on.
Since the maximum in Texas is 8.25%, most cities add on 2% - but call City Hall if you're not sure.
