Is the Amended tool available yet for 2019

Was wondering the same, i just check, but there's no link yet. It just turn 12am. I'm going to check around 1pm today.

You will be able to amend as soon as Form 1040X becomes available.  At this time the expected date of availability for the form 1040X is

02/27/2020 , however that date is subject to change.  You can track it's availability by going to the following link.

So can you tell me exactly how it works. Because i already received my state and fed income tax, ( i received my fed today) . I just forgot to fill out box 3 so if i do happen to get extra income is it coming by mail or my bank account? do i have to print out something, fill out and send it somewhere, and once they get it, does it take weeks to received any extra income?

You have to wait until your return has been processed and approved by the IRS before you can amend your return.
