I'm in disbelief with this
Someone please tell me if I'm wrong but does this sound correct ?
You need to check your data entries. You might have added some zeros or misplaced decimal points. The comma and the decimal are next to each other on the keyboard so it is easy to strike the wrong key. Avoid trying to enter commas or decimals into the software whenever possible.
Thanks . I'm just gonna walk in a tax office near me they should be able to correct my misunderstanding
Did you have $25,000 in federal tax withholding? W2 box 2. Maybe you typed the decimal point in the wrong place or left it out or made a typo. Check your W2 box 2. If you haven't filed yet delete the W2 and manually enter it.
Agree----my best bet is that "$25 thousand plus" of withholding! Bet that was supposed to be about $2500 hundred ish instead. Unless you made a LOT of money as shown in Box 1.
