I just received a letter from the IRS requesting my 1095-A for 2019. I only have a 1095-B. I'm self-employed and thus utilized the self-employed account option via turbo tax. I've been using turbo tax for 5 years, but I likely won't renew my subscription next year as I'm so disappointed with the customer service. I've been trying to use the online portal for my inquiry with no suitable solutions being offered. I've also tried calling multiple times for guidance, I can't get through to a representative who can offer help. I'm trying to be civil as I understand so much is automated these days, but I'm paying for a service - I should be able to get a person on the phone. Right now I have no next step, no guidance, and nothing to provide to the IRS.

If the IRS is requesting a form 1095-A I suspect that you may have inadvertently checked the box in the health section saying that you were insured through the market place. Go back and review that section of your return.
Check with the marketplace to make absolutely sure you didn't have Obamacare insurance at all in 2019 ... then if they concur you did not have 1095-A insurance then respond back to the IRS with that information. https://www.healthcare.gov/contact-us/
