IRS balance due

I was mailed a balance due from the IRS.  Will they just subtract that amount from my refund when I file this year ?

IRS balance due

If you owe the IRS they will offset your refund up to the amount you owe.  You do not have to enter this in your tax return.  The IRS knows.
