If your 2015 return was prepared using desktop software that was installed on the computer from a CD or download, then the only place that tax file was stored was on the hard drive or any backup devices used like a flash drive. Or did Dad print out a copy for your records?

You can get a free transcript from the IRS. It will have the information you need for FAFSA.
