How do I separate my federal and state tax return?

I am only getting $11 back from the State of Virginia and I do not wish to pay to file for this return. How do I delete the state tax return from my filing?

If you already started a state return, you can delete it as long as you haven't paid for it yet or registered your return. Just follow the steps below. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3301384
