If turbo tax makes a simple error on my return, shouldn’t they refund my fee?
The reason it is TurboTax fault is easy to see. Look at line 6 on the return and the taxable as income is shown as zero, but the IRS says that my taxable income meets the minimum for 85 % of SxS to be taxable.

File a claim under the 100% accuracy guarantee. If the investigation shows that TurboTax caused the error, then any late fees or penalties will be reimbursed.

There is a question in the Social Security section that asks if your spouse received the Social Security payments while living abroad.
If you lived in one of the listed countries, the social security would be taxed by that other country and show as zero on your 1040 line 6b.
Please look at your social security worksheet to see how that was answered.
The program will not continue until an answer is provided and does not default to an answer.
