If my order detail have "thanks for payment message," does that mean my tax refund was direct deposit?

I'm in the same boat...order status was pending payment for 2 weeks...2 days it went payment completed...went on TPG..and says they have received my return...when I clearly chose to pay with my refund...I need my $ now!

Okay so my payment status is showing complete so the fees have been collected via refund transfer.... so why is SBTPG saying they haven’t received my refund?

Okay so my return was accepted feb 10 and every since my payment has been pending ? I woke up today and say my payment was completed ! Does that mean my refund will be deposited soon ? I payed turbo tax with my refund ? I see a lot of mixed answers on here

@Ashryan123xo When your file your tax return successfully and you choose to pay your fees from your Federal refund, the TurboTax program considers the fee paid, even though the federal refund has not been released yet. This is why you see "Payment Completed".

As soon as your return is accepted by the IRS, your info shows at SBTPG, it should have your expected refund amount and it will say that they have not received your refund yet. Once they have your return it will update and tell you when they received it, what they received, what they deducted and when they sent it to your direct deposit account.

If it were true that TT doesn’t receive any more updates about our refund once it’s pass accepted then what is this email about? ( from

last year) obviously turbo does receive notification about the refund being approved! And again that means once it goes from payment pending to payment complete that means the fees were taken out!

Although you aren’t the one who actually said TT doesn’t get any notifications after the acceptance status but it’s been quite a few “TT specialists” giving out wrong info!

Have you received your payment yet I have the same issues but I filed with (eitc) and don't understand why TT payment is completed but still no refund in my bank and that website TT says to go to doesn't have any info on my refund 😑

I sure haven’t. I’m starting to get really annoyed. Like they’re always telling you to file early but then stuff like this happens... no info at all
