If I had my return sent to an account that is closed, will the tax return be sent in check form?

I did not realize the account was closed before I added as my direct deposit option and efiled. I read that I am unable to change that and I just would like to know how I will receive my return if the account it is going to is closed.

The bank will reject your deposit and sent the refund back to the IRS.  The IRS will mail a refund check to the address on the tax return.
