If I go back in and amend my taxes what do I do next? It says the form is not ready so how will this affect the changes I already made?

You will have to wait for the form to be ready; if already e-filed and pending, you need to wait until it is either accepted, or rejected.

If rejected, you can update your return and re-file.

I already filed and it was accepted by the IRS then i went back and made changes anyway but turbotax said I couldnt make changes without the 1040X form so did I mess up anything with my return? It changed the amount but at the end but Im not sure if it went through.
