If I filed with turbo tax will I get a stimulus check direct deposited in my bank account still?

As long as your routing and account # on your tax forms are the same as the routing and account # on your card, then it will be deposited onto your card.

If you look on the Santa Barbara Bank website it says that if you had direct deposit to your account that you will get a direct deposit from the IRS for the stimulus payment but if it went to a card issue by Santa Barbara Bank a check will be mailed.    Even though on your tax return when you look at it if it was a direct deposited it has Santa Barbara Bank account number and routing number because that's where your payment went first but the IRS is still sending the payments to your account

The Treasury is expected to shortly announce an online portal where direct deposit information can be supplied to the IRS. Here is what you should do: 

Go to  http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/economic-impact-payments-what-you-need-to-know to see if they have set up the online portal. (This article will be updated with the web address once it’s available.)

I’m hoping this is correct. I had my taxes direct deposited to the TurboTax debit card. It has a account and routing number and says it’s Green Dot Bank. I’m anticipating the stimulus will be going to the card?

@Nick0707 I've been hearing on the news and reading in articles that qualifying individuals whose direct deposit information is on file with the IRS will be receiving their stimulus funds via direct deposit anytime between April 9 - April 14.

?????? That's crazy. It was sent out today meaning some banks won't post them until tomorrow or Monday or Tuesday. The IRS said b they will be in your account by the 15th if you're in a certain income range. Others will be sent out the following week.

I don’t know of anyone who received a stimulus check today, in spite of the news saying some would go out on the 9th.

I filed with TT and had my fees taken out of my return, so I’m hoping that the irs will have my account information for direct deposit. When I look at my tax form, it contains the routing and account numbers I entered to be sent to my bank. I sincerely hope the IRS  has this info, because I need this money very badly ASAP.
