If I can not find my 2021 tax return, how do I finish filing?

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Start the 2022 online tax return by entering some personal information then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.

On the Tax Home webpage -

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents.  Click on the Year and Click on Download .tax file

If you purchased one of the 2021 TurboTax online editions with a credit card contact TurboTax support so they can push a 2021 installation file to your download account at no charge.

A 2021 tax return can only be printed and mailed using TurboTax, it cannot be e-filed.

Do you need to finish and file 2021 -OR- need the 2021 AGI to file 2022?  You need your 2021 AGI to efile 2022. The AGI is on 2021 1040 line 11. If you filed a Joint return you use the same AGI for each spouse.

If you didn't file 2021 or filed it later in the year or mailed it, then try entering 0 for the AGI. If that doesn't work you will have to print and mail your return.
