Take a look at Line 40 on your 2017 Form 1040. That is the line for standard or itemized deductions. If it is showing any of the following numbers, then you likely used the standard deduction:

$6350 for Single or Married Filing Separate

$12,700 for Married Filing Joint

$9350 for Head of Household
