I set my refund to be direct deposited in the bank but I only put the federal amount and forgot to include state, how can I acquire the remaining refund left? Not offset.

Thanks for your reply @DoninGA . Should I have included the total amount (federal and state) for the direct deposit? I just received the federal amount only and I don’t know how they can send the state refund?

If you also had a state tax refund you would have been asked to provide a bank routing number and account number for the state refund if different than the direct deposit for the federal tax refund.  If you did not enter anything different then the same account would have been used for the state refund.

You can check how you chose to receive the state tax refund by viewing the Filing Instructions for the state tax return.

The Federal tax refund and the State tax refund are processed by totally separate tax authorities and are issued separately.

To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
