If you forgot to e-file your returns last year you can still file them now by mail. They have to be printed, signed in ink, and mailed to the correct addresses for federal and states---do not combine them in any way. If you used a paid version of the software and paid already you can print them out. If you did not pay your TurboTax fees yet you will have to pay before you will be able to print.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

Thank you for your reply!
I have actually already printed them out. I suppose now I just have to sign them, attach appropriate forms and then mail them to their respective destinations.
While preparing my taxes for 2020, I have come across something that caused me to hesitate. I am not certain if you will know the answer to this, but you seem quite knowledgeable, so I am hopeful. There is a place where it asks for me to enter my "State and Local Tax Refund Summary," and the numbers calculated from my prior return (which was not yet filed) shows up under "state or local income tax refunds" (regarding 2019). Should I be deleting it and leaving it as zero for now, as I did not actually receive it, or should I leave it as it has been estimated via the system? I imagine this is to be counted as money I actually received last year and not just a request for me to enter the return I was supposed to receive, but I don't want to have any new issues after I've already made such a mistake by never submitting my documents.
I usually file as soon as I receive all of my forms, but the last two years I have been out of town for work and with mail forwarding they have been so delayed and I was usually packing to leave by the time I received them.
Again, I want to thank you for your time and your thorough explanation.
