I will reply although at just past seven a.m. where I am dong this as a volunteer -- it is pretty distasteful to help someone who is rude and profane in asking for help.
TurboTax provides software for a do-it yourself tax return. TT does not file your tax return for you. The user has to go all the way through the FILE section to click a big orange button that says "Transmit my return now" in order to e-file. If the user does not do that, the return is not filed. After e-filing the user must pay attention to the emails they get --
When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say that your return was submitted. The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.
If the return is rejected, you must follow up to fix it and re-file. Sometimes the reason for the rejection is "un-fixable" -- like a duplicate Social Security number -- and the return has to be printed signed and mailed instead. Again--user follow up is necessary.
If the IRS is saying you did not file--are they saying you did not pay tax due for that year? Your only proof of paying your tax due would be your own bank/credit card records. TurboTax never knows when, how, or even if you pay your tax due. The taxpayer has to pay attention to his own financial records and make sure the payment was cashed, debited, etc. from the account.
If you do not know how to access your account for that 2014 return, use the recovery tool. The status will be indicated. It may say "accepted", "rejected," "printed" or "ready to mail." If it says anything other than "accepted" it was not filed and you did not notice or follow up and file it.
If it says "accepted" then you will need to check your bank/credit card records for that time period to seek proof that the IRS was paid, and that the IRS is making a mistake.
If the return was not filed, then you will need to print, sign and mail it in with your payment. The interest/penalties will be calculated by the IRS based on how much you owe and when they receive your return and payment. The IRS will bill you for this; it will not be calculated by TurboTax.
When you mail a tax return or a payment to the IRS, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return and your payment.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.
