I need to amend my 2018 taxes for my independent ride sharing with Lyft

IRS states that I owe over $6000 in taxes for not filing my Lyft taxes in 2018, how can that be when I just made a little over$2400

Did you fill out Schedule C for it?   The IRS gets your gross income from Lyft but doesn't know your expenses.  You need to add Schedule C.
