I mailed my return a month back but USPS shows its delayed since the 24th of Feb with no other status update. Should I e-file now instead?

That would be the best option since your return has not been delivered. You can log back into your return and go to the file tab and then go thru the prompts and change the print and mail to e-file. If the USPS does deliver your return, the IRS will already have one in the system and disregard the one mailed in.
