I mailed my return a month back but USPS shows its delayed since the 24th of Feb with no other status update. Should I e-file now instead?

I mailed my return a month back but USPS shows its delayed since the 24th of Feb with no other status update. Should I e-file now instead?
Seems as if USPS has lost my package and my tax return isn't going to be delivered anyway
