I made a typo on Schedule D, bulk edit isn't working right. How do I edit an entry?

I am using premier thick client on a Mac.  I can't edit the investment sale of a line item.  I need to adjust the cost basis but the 'bulk edit'  , which seems to be the only option, isn't allowing me to see/edit that field.

If you can't see the Edit button because it's outside the viewable area of your screen:

To adjust the resolution on your screen, you could try the steps on this Apple Support page:

On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Displays in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Select the display you want to adjust, then select the resolution you want to use. You may be able to turn on “Show all resolutions” to see additional resolutions for the display.

Depending on how you adjust the resolution, some app windows may not fit entirely on the screen. Using a scaled resolution may affect performance.

In the alternative, you could hook up a separate monitor to your Mac.

I have a variation on this question. I can use the bulk edit button just fine. It doesn't seem to let me edit the description.

One of the sales is marked as "Needs Review." How do I tell what needs review?

If it says 'needs review' that means that the numbers aren't typical.  So the system just wants you to double check them and make sure they're correct.  If the numbers are exactly what they are supposed to be you can ignore the 'needs review'.

This would one of the worst advice/workaround I would have seen for any software. Do you really expect customers to keep tweaking screen resolution and external display just you cannot build software adjusting for different screen size? There has to be an alternate instead of using external display. I tried all the resolution but this doesnt work

I found a workaround!  I am on a Mac Laptop.  Try selecting the box for the transaction you want to edit and then hold your option key and press tab a few times to see if the controls you want scroll into view.

I tried plugging into a giant monitor and that doesn't work at all.  You still get a chopped UI that says "Needs Rev" and it cuts off everything at the middle of the word "Review".  Using option-tab got me to the Edit Pencil for the one broken transaction I needed to fix, and fix it.  I hope this works for you.
