I'm working on my 2018 income entries for my tax return. My question is: When entering my 2017 refund amount, is the requested amount of total paid on my 2017 line 47?

Clarification: TurboTax asked for my 2017 refund amount. Then it asked me for total 2017 taxes paid (I don't know why.) but I think that would simply be the amount shown on my year 2017 1040 return, line 47. Right?

Your Total Tax Paid from your 2017 Form 1040 would be on Line 74.

Line 47 is your Total Tax Due.
