I'm trying to amend my taxes for 2023 because I entered the information wrong on line 4 and line 6 in the child tax credit portion on the 1040 form but can't see how

I put a 0 on line 4 and a 1 on line 6 and I can't figure out how to correct it

Those numbers are not entered by you, they are entered by TurboTax based on the information you entered for your dependents on your return.  If those numbers need to change, the information for your dependents must change.

For example, line 4 represents the number of qualifying children under the age of 17 shown on your return.  If there is a zero on that line, then you did not have any qualifying children on your return under the age of 17.  You cannot simply change that number without changing the information about your qualifying children.
