You will not get the child tax credit for your 18 year old. You lost the child tax credit when she turned 17. She can still be claimed as your dependent. You do NOT enter her earnings on your own tax return. She can file her own tax return in order to seek a refund of any taxes withheld from her pay. She MUST say on her own return that she can be claimed as a dependent on someone else's tax return. (Supervise this!) Any education expenses get entered on YOUR tax return--not hers.
