I haven't received confirmation from the IRS about my taxes

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

If the IRS accepted it, what does it say here?

https://www.irs.gov/refunds           Or does your account say “Ready to Mail?”

I haven't received confirmation from the IRS about my taxes

I filed on the 31 and by the first both federal and state were accepted but I still haven't received my acknowledgement letter from the IRS

As long as the IRS Where's My Refund? site is showing "Accepted" you are ok.

Please see the TurboTax help topics below, for additional information:

My return got accepted. What happens next?

What does Accepted mean?

When will I get my IRS tax refund?

Are you entering the correct data on the WMR site?

Once your return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS.

To track your Federal refund:  Enter the amount of your Federal return only.

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

To track your state refund:

This is normal. It can take anywhere from a few hours to 3 weeks to update. Until the IRS starts processing it on their own, you may not find record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated accordingly. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund?  tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight. You may also download the IRS2Go app to check your Federal refund status.

No you do not need to refile at this time. It may take longer than the usual 24-48 hours in some cases for your return to get accepted.  See this FAQ  regarding What does pending mean?

Was your return Accepted? First double check your efile status here
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.

Then only the IRS can tell you. IRS Where's my refund https://www.irs.gov/refunds/
Make sure you are using the refund amount from your actual federal tax return and not the combined amount Turbo Tax showed you at the end. That was for federal and state combined.

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.  what does it say?
