It depends. 

The IRS issues a lot of refunds within 21 days, but it has been taking longer with the stimulus payment being issued in addition to the tax refunds.

I was in that same boat and called in the [phone number removed] number. They needed to verify my ID and said they probably didn't send the letter out indicating such. I got my refund a week later. They're staffed now- give it a shot.

what a bunch of bologna... this is why people claim 0 and do not file taxes... If our refunds are not going to get paid out in a reasonable amount of time... I have not gotten my tax return or the last 2 stimulus checks... sounds like the new administration is bankrupting people... I am very upset about the whole tax situation this year... It really makes you think... What is the point...
