I have used Opportunity Maine Tax Credit for 2016 and 2017. Can I amend my taxes for previous years before 2016 and get a refund?

For Maine, Form 1040X-ME must be filed within 3 years after the date the original return was filed, or within 3 years after the date the tax was paid, whichever is later. A return filed early is considered filed on the date it was due. So you could file an amended return for 2015 and 2014, but you can't file for 2014 after 04/15/18.
