same thing with my wife..and she filed after I did..georgia needs to get it together..ive never had to wait this long.
Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities, There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.
STATE RETURN
Make sure your state return was accepted: https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

Fully aware of this information as it has been republished multiple times..does not help with the delays in Georgia.. but thanks nonetheless.
I guess for tax year 2022 they hired a whole bunch of people to go through everyone's taxes. They are trying not to give out refunds. I've been waiting since February as well. They did send me a letter saying that their figures are that of basic refund and I didn't have evidence to claim anything. I had to send them all my receipts and records and still they said the same. They requested more. I sent in more. Still waiting. Now it's September. ?????
You are absolutely correct and I think its disgusting!!! Instead of sending out our refunds, they are holding onto it until the very last legal minute. Something really needs to be done about this!!
