I filled an amended return but there has been no update on the IRS webpage as to where my file is in its process. Need help, anyone know what's going on?

Waiting and not knowing the status of your tax return and refund can be frustrating.
Unfortunately TurboTax gets no information about the status of your refund.

Many returns are taking longer than normal now since the IRS did not process returns for a while and there is now a big backlog of unprocessed returns.
To protect the public and employees, and in compliance with orders of local health authorities around the country, certain IRS services such as live assistance on telephones, processing paper tax returns and responding to correspondence are extremely limited or suspended until further notice. 
They are now taking phone calls with a limited staff but it's hard to get through.

You must print and mail the amended return yourself. TurboTax does not mail it for you. You will not be able to start tracking your return until the IRS starts processing it. In normal times, it takes the IRS about 16 weeks to process an amended return. It is likely taking longer now.

I did file and send in the amended tax form. Just no update. I have not been updated as to where it is in the process and it has been over 8 weeks. I have a tracking number from USPS that it was delivered. Does not seem they are processing amended returns.

In normal times it takes up to 16 weeks or more to process an Amended 1040X return.  But these are not normal times.

They just started opening the mail in June that's been stacking up. So you have to keep waiting.
