Normally, the AGI you use must be the same as for what You & Spouse originally filed, before being Amended. At least that's what is required for people who file regularly , and only amend for other reasons than completely changing from MFS to MFJ

But yeah, not sure what happens if you amend to MFJ...might depend on when you amended....
