If you selected direct deposit, then your bank account info will be listed on the first page of tax form 1040 under the Refund section, usually line 20 b, d.
Another way to review the refund method you chose, please look at the first page of your filing instructions. To review your chosen refund method for your federal tax return, please follow these instructions to retrieve your filing instructions:
The filing instructions will be listed on the first page. To see an example copy of the filing instructions page and where to look please see the attachment below.
I had the same issue. At first I have no refund but after I updated my deduction I have refund.
Turbo Tax did not ask me to enter my bank info nor give me any choice for direct deposit?
I click on File and hope to see Edit/revisit tab but not there? Please help.
@kklau If you're getting a refund, we'll ask for your bank account info once you choose the direct deposit option (it's on the How would you like to receive your federal refund? screen in the File section). You will need to continue through your review section ect, as shown in the screenshot below. Once you review, it will come up and ask how you want to pay your TurboTax fees and the next option will be how you want to receive your refund.
My file section does not show how to receive my refund option. see blew:
@kklau You are only on the first screen in the File section. You still have to selected how you want to file your taxes and how to receive your tax refund.
You will not file your tax return until you land on the screen that has large Orange button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
I did go to next screen and select mail option but still not asking me to enter bank account info.
it just show print your review. If I select print, the printout does not show any bank info(of course, nothing enter yet).
Ok it works now. just updated and thanks
