I divorced 6/2017 filed married separate lived in another state. Back together now and it is messing with his taxes do I need to amend since we were married 1/2 the year?

Since you were divorced on 6/2017 you shouldn't have filed married filing separate unless you were re-married before 12/31/17. Your filing status for each tax year is determined by the last day of the tax year (usually 12/31/17)
