To access your current or prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

See this TurboTax support FAQ for accessing prior year online tax returns - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/prior-year-return/help/how-do-i-access-my-prior-year-return/01/270...

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

Or go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

For a fee of $50 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf

I can't retrieve my 2018 tax return

Has your 2018 return already been filed, and if so, was it efiled and accepted?  Or is the 2018 return still in preparation?

What does "can't retrieve" mean?   Does it mean you can't find it in that account, and it acts like it wants you to start one?  If so, then you likely have multiple accounts.   We can tell you how to troubleshoot to find the right one.

Or does "can't retrieve" mean that you find it OK, but there is some issue when you try to download/print the PDF?

I can't retrieve my 2018 tax return

i filed, paid for it, received the refund and I am only able to retrieve 2017

I can't retrieve my 2018 tax return

I go back in and it tells me that my return is in process, yet I have a receipt

I can't retrieve my 2018 tax return

how can i troubleshoot?

If you have filed your 2018 return and have received your 2018 Federal refund, then the status at the Tax Home should no longer say "in progress."

If the 2018 return status at the Tax Home says "in progress", that suggests that you have another account with the completed return.   Here's how to look for another account:

You can have up to 5 accounts that use the same email address for notification purposes.  A User ID may be an email address, but it doesn't have to be.  It might be only part of an email address, or it can be anything at all.

To get a list of your User IDs and recover account access, you can use the tool at the link below.  Try using your phone number first.   After that, if necessary, then run the tool on your email address(es) you can access.

NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop.  Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below.  You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session.

https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery

If still no luck after running that on your phone number and email address(es) that you can access,  here's another method.
Go back to the tool again, but this time leave the data field blank, and choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by SSN and other parameters.

This is an old thread with multiple users.   You have not said much about your situation, except that you have already filed.   You didn't say if you prepared it in desktop software (CD/download) or Online TurboTax (web version).

If you prepared it in Online TurboTax, and when you log in,  you can find no evidence of a 2018 return in that account, then you likely have multiple accounts.    Scroll down to the answer I've already provided for others in this thread on how to look for multiple online accounts.
