I can't amend a return from 2021 with the online version since there's no option from home. Downloaded amend software doesn't work with windows, only mac. How do I amend?

When going to the "Amend (change) 2021 return dropdown from the home page, the only instructions are to download a .tax file and desktop turbotax to amend with the application. This application, when I tried to download it, is not compatible with windows, only mac. There are no other options in the dropdown to amend online. So how do I amend my 2021 return? I can't speak with a representative since the help bot says I haven't started a return or chosen a product.

What happens when you click on Windows in the Amend 2021 section and click on Continue on the following screen?

It allows me to purchase a download of an amendment software “for windows and mac”, but when I actually go to download it, it grays out the windows option and only gives an option to download for mac. The site says the software is incompatible with windows.

If you used the online version a download is pushed to you for free  EXCEPT the amendment system is not working properly at this time ... contact TT support for assistance :
