I believe that my state tax withholding amount may be entered wrong. How do I fix that?

can't find how to fix this.  I can't see how to go back to the original entry

Withholding from what? A W2 or maybe a 1099R?

Federal Taxes or Personal (Home & Business/Self Employed version)
Wages & Income
Then scroll down to Wages and Salaries- Click the Start or Revisit button
You should get a box listing all your W2s.
 
Then click  Edit by your W2 to double check it or change it.

The state wages is in box 16 and state withholding in box 17.  You have to scroll way down to get to State. Make sure to fill out all 3 boxes 15-17 and put in the right state.

I was a part year resident in NY & NJ.  I worked in NY all year and had state income tax withheld.  Turbotax is doubling the amount of State tax withheld on my NY return and I don't know why.
