I am trying to amend my tax return from last year and add a form 540 2EZ for the CA rent rebate I didnt add. I cant find the form anywhere. How would I do that?

To claim the renter's credit on CA return:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Go to State Taxes.
3. Click Edit next to Credit and Taxes.
4. Click Revisit next to Renter's credit.

I can't just go to State Taxes I have to go to amend my tax return first then go to tools then expand on tools to get my State returns but there's nothing at all showing edit next to any credit and taxes in that section after i select amend my California tax return. Also it brings me into nothing about renters credit because there is no edit credit and taxes to begin with under the amend section I could see.

When amending the state return only you must first answer some questions in the federal section and you will be led to your state return to make changes. Please follow the directions in this TurboTax FAQ for the version software you are using.
