I am required to file by mail but do not have a printer

Why cannot you e-file your tax returns?  Do you have any taxable income entered on your tax return?  Are you only receiving Social Security benefits and have no other income?

@worldweird, Did TurboTax notify you that you have to paper file? If not, you do not need a printer to efile your return. If it does say you need to paper file, then you will have to save the return and find a local store that can print the file for you. You can check with your local UPS store, FedEx, Office Max, Staples, or even your local library.

Yes, they said I have to paper file and I cannot get to any printer, neither can my 99 year old mother for whom I am caregiver. The IRS requires us to file but because of their rules and TurboTax rules we cannot file.

We understand that the need to file a paper return is creating a difficult situation for you.  

If you are not able to leave the house to access a printer at a local library, Fedex, or UPS store, possibly a trusted friend or relative can help you with this.  

For a number of reasons (including security), we can't email or mail you a printable or printed copy of your return.
