Your phone might be the problem.  It might seem trendy to do a tax return on a phone when you see it on the commercials, but in reality, the screen is small and you cannot see what you are doing. It is too easy to miss important things. Your tax return is too important to risk messing up by preparing it on a phone.  Get to a computer or some other device with a larger screen.  Messing up your tax return and spending months sorting out the mess will not be “cool.”

Did you already e-file?  If you did NOT e-file you can go to the FILE section  step 2 to enter/change how you want to receive your refund.  If you want direct deposit you need the routing number and your own account number.

You cannot  change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted.  The IRS does not allow it.
