How long does it take to remove the hold from my refund?

I received an email from a third-party Santa Barbara, claiming suspicious activity (The only suspicious activity is the holding my refund). On 3/30/21, I uploaded the front and back of my drivers license as they requested, confirming once completed. The following morning 3/31/21, I received an email, requesting the same documentation, I follow the link and when I submit my SSN, I get this error, "The current account status is not eligible". I've talked to 5 Turbotax Specialist, Sent 3 support request, 2 emails to the SBG. Hours upon Hours on the phone with Turbotax Specialists and their Supervisors, trying to find a way to contact a live "Support Person", of the Santa Barbara Group Representatives. The Supervisors where even surprised to realize they had no way to contact SBG. I was told and I verified my Refund was Sent from the IRS to Turbotax, April 1st - hours of trying, no word from SBG. Finally, the Specialist told me Thursday that everything is a "Green Light" and Friday Morning 4/2/21, I would wake up with the money in my Bank. Nope, I spent hours with a very nice Turbo Tax Specialist Supervisor as I did on the 1st. On 4/3/21, nothing and another Turbotax Specialist. On 4/4/21, Nothing, another Turbotax Specialist, she said she would look for a way to contact, after about an hour of listening to their music, the line went dead. I also was told tonight, Sunday 4/4/21 into Tomorrow Morning 4/5/21 (my birthday) the Refund should hit, is this going to happen? Please someone tell me some facts, I still get the email requesting and I still can’t enter my social to upload again. Stuck in the cracks of a faulty program and zero customer support from Santa Barbara Group. I would of went with another if I had known there was a third party involved, with no customer service non the less. I understand the assurance of protection of my Identity, "but its my money and I want it now".  How long does it take to remove the hold from my refund? When can I expect it in my account?

this is a public forum with no access to your a/c with SBG or even TurboTax

but here's some info from a prior year thread. hope this helps

 

 

Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC (SBTPG) is the bank that handles the Refund Processing Service when you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. 

You can contact them SBTPG, toll-free, at 1-877-908-7228 or go to their secure website www.sbtpg.com

How long does it take to remove the hold from my refund?

I have called them several times. It’s just like the sight. I get a error message.  Reading “we have noticed suspicious activity and places you’d account on hold. “ further instructs me to  upload my drivers license. Then I go to to the site and enter my  social to access the page but it rejects me then I try a support ticket and never get a response. I need to talk to a live person. Still I don’t have it. Almost 4 am here pacific
