How do I view 2015 tax record so as to retrieve my EIN ?

It may be too late for a 2015 return as the IRS & TT only keep the last 7 tax years...  but you can look :  

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

If you have not yet started a 2022 return : 

Start the 2022 online tax return by entering some personal information (about a dozen screens) even if you will NOT use the TT program for the 2022 return.  Then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.

On the Tax Home webpage -

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

What kind of EIN?  A EIN on a form you  would have gotten from someone else  like on a W2 or 1099?  Or a EIN for your own business?   What do you need it for?

My EIN, sole proprietor. Didn't I mention it is my EIN? Employee identification number. I have lost it and need to retrieve it.

Q. What if I forget the number I obtained over the Internet?

A. IRS records will be updated immediately with your EIN. Simply call (800) 829-4933 and select EIN from the list of options. Once connected with an IRS employee, tell the assistor you received an EIN from the Internet but can't remember it. The IRS employee will ask the necessary disclosure and security questions prior to providing the number.
