Ok thank you
I have filed and received my tax refund. Ca. I change my bank account that I have on file
If you already e-filed and your return gets accepted, you can no longer change your direct deposit information. Also, if you have already received your return, why do you need to change your account number and with whom?
Man - don't provide that information on a forum. That's dangerous.
i filled my taxes and i guess i added 0 in front of a number in the middle that didnt belong. im assuming my bank will of course reject it. never been through this or even had a issue before the irs is closed to calls so not sure what to do.
how did u get to change it my dd is tomorrow i added a extra zero so guessing ill be waiting on a check sigh
@kwood407 You are not able to update your direct deposit information once you have submitted your tax return and it has been accepted by the IRS. If your financial institution does reject the deposit, the government will mail your refund check. Please see What if I entered the wrong bank account for direct deposit? for additional information.
Can you update me on what route you took

If you have filed a 2019 tax return and need to change or add your direct deposit information, see this IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/economic-impact-payments-what-you-need-to-know
The IRS does not have my direct deposit information. What can I do?
In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.

I filed my taxes an found out that my account that i was using is closed , so how do i go about rerouting my refund to my other account
Yes.
In most cases, once the IRS has accepted your return there's not much you can do. If the info you provided is for a closed or invalid account, the government will mail you a refund check. For more info please click the link below.
