To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
Or -
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
I didn't understand how to do that, too. That's why I've started to use another source for filling forms online (and also 1040). For me it was easier to figure out how to work with that one, because everything is explained. It's absolutely the same.
Here is the link https://pdfliner.com/1040_form. Hope, it'll be useful for some of you😊
H & R block is the most expensive. I would go to anyone else but not H&R.
How i view my form 1040 ?

For what tax year--the current 2020 return or a prior year? If 2020, are you wanting to view the 2020 Form 1040 during preparation, review it prior to filing, or have you already filed? Are you using Online TurboTax or desktop software (CD/download)?
I have not found a way to view/edit directly to the form, and I am unable to view/print my 2020 forms, only past year forms... So, I'm guessing it is making you pay for the product before you can directly have access and edit "my" forms. Not so Free, Free, Free!
Only the Desktop CD/Download program has the Forms Mode. Yes in the online version, To see all the forms you need to pay any fees first with a credit card.

Assume you are using the online editions. There is no direct access to any forms, schedules or worksheets using the online editions. That option is only available with the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions.
You can view your Form 1040 at any time. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
If you want to view or print your complete tax return before filing you will have to pay the TurboTax account fees.
To pay the TurboTax online account fees by credit card, without completing the 2020 return at this time, click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. On the next page, to pay by credit card, click Pay Now. The next screen will show a review of your Fees, click on Continue. Complete the next screen to pay by credit card and click Continue.
